Looking for a way to keep your kids active over the school holidays? Look no further than Active Tribes School Holiday Sports Program.

School holiday activities for kids to beat the boredom trap

Active Tribes runs junior sporting and recreational activities during each school holiday break. Daily (half or full day), and weekly activity options are available, offering parents more choice and a smooth run through the holidays.

Plus, all children attending a full week of holiday activity across tennis, swimmingathletics and any of our multi-activities will receive a special Active Tribes piece of merchandise that they can utlise while attending the program.

Athletics, swimming, tennis and more

Depending on the season, children can choose from a variety of sport-specific activities including athletics, tennis and swim school, plus we offer some great multi-activity options which include both sporting and recreational activities.

Primary and high school students catered for

The Active Tribes holiday program caters for children and teenagers aged between 6 months to 17 years.

Free before and after activity care

Need to drop your child off early, or can't make it back by 4pm? We gladly offer free supervised care for your child before and after each day of your child's holiday activity at selected locations. Before care runs from 8:00am to 9:00am at UQ St. Lucia and 8:30am - 9:00am at UQ Gatton. After care runs from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at both UQ St Lucia and UQ Gatton locations.

Child care rebates available

Child Care Benefit (CCB) is available for those attending the ActiveSports and ActivePlay holiday activities. If you wish to claim the Child Care Benefit you can do this through our online enrolment procedure as well as by phone or in person. Please register with the Family Assistance Office first.
