Athletics All Stars
We are lucky to have world class athletes coaching in our Active Tribes Athletics programs.
Coach Caitlin Sargent will jet off to Daegu, Korea in August to compete in the 2011 IAAF World Championships. Caitlin specialises in the 100m, 200m & 400m events and will represent Australia in the 4x400m relay event. Ms Sargent studies a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland and is a past UQ Sports Achievement Scholarship holder and a current Queensland Department of Communities Rising Star Award recipient. She is also the current Australian University Sport 100m, 200m & 400m title holder. We wish Caitlin all the best for her upcoming competitions!
Fellow Active Tribes coach Andrew McCabe was also a recent participant in the prestigious Stawell Gift held over the Easter long weekend. The 120m handicapped sprint race celebrated its 130th birthday, and Andrew finished in 3rd place - a mere 0.047 seconds behind the winner. Well done Andrew!
Survey Winners!
At Active Tribes we value customer feedback about all aspects of our business. At the end of each term and holiday program, parents are asked to complete a survey which allows us to ensure we are continuing to meet your expectations. All survey respondants go into a draw to win a free enrolment in the upcoming program. Congratulations to the latest winner!
